Bed and Breakfast in Cantal : la Chalinhôte !

Angélique and Olivier welcome you in this manor built in 1863 nestled at the heart of Chalinargues, a typical Auvergnat village perched on the slopes of the Cantal mountains (“les Monts du Cantal”).
Ideally located in an eco-protected zone bording the Puy Mary, the ski-resort Le Lioran, the pass of Prat-de-Bouc, the rolling steppes of the Cézallier and the nearby primitive pine forest of the Pinatelle, a wide range of leisure activities are available all year round.

Each of the four fully-equipped guest rooms recalls one of the Elements (Air, Water, Fire, Earth) reflecting the different characteristics of Cantal’s preserved nature. The guest set menu is also based on local and family cooking recipes of quality country products. Our renovated manor illustrates the best combination of full respect for both cultural heritage and the environment (local supply chain, home grown fruits and vegetables, renewable energy, eco-materials, managed waste…).
